James R. Danner has been a part of the Cleveland area for 30 years. He spent the first half of that time in banking, and in the 15 years since with the insurance industry as a Farmers Agent. He and his wife, Cathy, who serves as Office Manager of Danner Insurance, have four grown children. Danner has been involved in the community in a number of ways, including six years with the Liberty County Appraisal District Board of Directors (also serving as Chairman), twelve years on the Cleveland Independent School District Board of Trustees (serving four years as President), and 28 years with the Annual Cleveland Livestock Show and Dairy Day (also serving four years as President). When work and his volunteer responsibilities allow, he enjoys the great outdoors, particularly his horses.
